My darling little doll is three months already. Well time flies. Well ok honestly when you look back it feels like time has flown by. When you are living through the endless diaper changes and the colic filled evenings, the time couldn't have been slower!!! I wanted baby to hit the three month mark like mad bcoz she's been colicky and everyone told me that once she turns three months colic disappears. Hence i was really waiting for the three month mark. I knew that once she hits 3 months my little baby no longer qualifies as a newborn. But still..... The colic was too much to bear with. I'm quite happy to report that the colic has subsided and now she is a happy three month old
At three months miss A you:
- roll over from your tummy to your back. And from your back to your side. I'm scared of leaving you alone for a bit bcoz i never know if u suddenly make the roll
- pull out mama's hair a lot. I mean A LOT. But i don't see myself getting my hair cut shorter bcoz hubs loves my hair long. And honestly i would just about die if i chopped off my hair. It took me a while to grow them waist length. Hence currently I'm seen with my hair piled all over my head but some how u naughty itty bitty girl manage to pull it out.
- smiles all the time except when i pick up my camera. As soon as i aim the phone cam towards you, u r entranced by my phn and keep staring at it as if its God. As soon as i put it down u resume your smiles.
- mama taught u to blow bubbles and you blow bubbles all day through. Everyone isn't too happy about u blowing bubbles but its so cute that no one can say much.
- have a preference about who should pick u up. And u babble until the person whose arms u want to be in takes u.
- are a total daddy's daughter. U love to be with daddy and keep cooing and babbling to him. There was a day when he was away on flight on a layover. U were so restless and the moment he came home and held u , u fell asleep in daddy's arms. No one could soothe u that day but as soon as u got ur dad u were blissed out.
- wear nb clothes and diapers still. Mama likes the diapers which are made in Saudi and makes dad buy them for u every time he gets a flight there.
- u like tummy time but there are days when i put u on ur tummy to play but u just lay ur head down and sleep off. Funny moment.
- love to watch tv. What am i to do with u!!!! As soon as the tv is switched on ur attention is there. U can be kept as far off as possible u turn ur head around, jump, do something or the other but make sure that u start watching tv.
- drink about 4 or 5 oz of milk. When u don't want milk u start removing it from ur mouth like ur a fountain. U also push the bottle away with ur tongue.
- still don't like car travel. I think its bcoz u like being in ur bed and having freedom of movement whereas in the car ur pretty confined.
- took ur DPT shots well. U also took ur Rota virus vaccination (oral drops) an ur oral polio vaccination. You get slightly cranky once the vaccine is done, like the next two days or so. Its probably the pain of the injection. Some crocin drops later ur ok.
- love to kick. U kick absolutely everything an everyone.
- u love the horse on ur cot mobile. U always keep following the horse. The other stuff doesn't interest u too very much.
- dad has now started feeding u bottles. . Its absolutely cute to see him try to stop u from jumping, put ur bib on and feed u - all when ur swatting at the bottle, putting ur bib in ur mouth and trying to jump off from his lap!
- hate it when anyone touches ur face. When the lady who gives u a bath does ur face massage u scream bloody murder.
- call me crazy but on 19th feb 2013 u laughed. Like hahaha. Not just a smile. A proper laugh. Love u princess.
- love to pull ur clothes up. I know this has to stop soon or dad will be livid. For now we find it cute.
- when ur really hungry u grab and holder own bottle. Its super cute. But of course we don't let u hold it by yourself. But its beyond cute to see u do that.
- need a lot of entertainment and attention from one of us.
- keep talking through the day.
Its so much fun takin care of u sweet pea. We love u hugely and hope u understand and feel it in some corner of ur little brain. And all over ur little heart. We both are crazy about u princess. Its a wonder to see i getting bigger each day and the way u learn new things its awesome.
