And that's how a mother feels

All along my life, i have prided myself on being a daddy's girl. I loved him a lot, he was my hero. In fact my friends would tease me saying i was mad about dad.

But today i know what my mum feels like. She's my best friend but dad and i always shared the most special bond. And now when i see my baby girl withy hubby i can feel that same bond there.

And i totally understand what i mom might have felt! The way the two of them meet, that special smile she gives him, the way she wants to be carried by him, the games they play. Don't get me wrong i love it all. I'm happy my hubby is so well bonded. They love each other so much is cute. But i also feel the tiniest bit left out. Its like i don't really matter much if her dad is around. I know that's not true, ad she's just being a daddy's girl. But it still makes me feel slightly you know ever so slightly sad. Ok not precisely sad but left out.

And that's how a mother to a five month old daughter feels!!!! Imagine that. I have a long way to go. School friends, permissions, parties, stay over permissions, i just know all of them are going to go to hubby!!!! Hmmmm that's how a mother feels ;) ;) ;)

A date to remember

20th April 2013: my miss A has learned the word 'bye' and now officially knows its meaning. Yesterday when we said bye to our bumps she came to us and refused to go back to her daadi. She now wants to stick to the person who is going out and roam around!!!!

Ohhhh my little fast learner. She has learnt so quickly!!!! Muaah love you sweetie pie

You are lucky

My little baby as i write this post you are sitting in your daadi's lap. You know you are lucky to have both sets of grandparents who are going totally gaga over you.

Personally i have experience the joy of having just one set of grandparents. It was amazing i loved my grand mom and grand dad a lot. I hope that you feel the same way as i have felt about grandparents. They are a blessing sweetheart and be happy you have all of them who love you so much.

You are definitely going to be spoilt a lot but remember sometimes I'll be strict. It is in fact their values that i will want to give you as they have brought us up with so many values that your dad and i firmly believe in. We are proud of our parents just as you'll be proud of your grandparents.

The first bath

11 th April is special because mama gave gogie a bath for the first time all alone. It felt so cute. And i was all cautious. No one was helping me in the bathroom. It was just u and i. And u were an angel. Sitting in ur bath chair looking at the shower just enjoying urself. I love u my baby. You are my world.

Mama aahes ur hair and before bath also have u a massage. It was so awesome. Love u princess

The many names of Miss A

My little one. You are actually called my little Miss A. Your name is a beautiful name which means princess. We chose this name for you because we both want you to be our princess. You are going to be treated just like one all your life. But this post is all about the many other names you have.
- Bumps/Bumpy. Mama's name for u since u were in mama's tummy. Since you bumped a lot into me, whenever i spoke to u i called u bumpy. And that name i sill call many a times.
- Pari. Aai and baba's name for u. They call u their little fairy.
- Mota. Possible the name i dislike the most. It means fat ad ur not fat my love.
- Shoni. Just another name for u

Aaaaaaand your favourite name
Gogie. It doesn't mean anything. Daddy just came up with it and called you that. And now of all things u believe ur name is Gogie!!! U wont respond to ur real name but will immediately look when anyone calls u Gogie. Haha.
